2016 / Curicó, Chile / Proposal

Curicó is a middle size city placed in the central valley of Chile. This proposal explores a hypothetic scenario in which current railway infrastructure (that cut the city) is redesigned for reconnecting west and east neighborhoods.

What if a new underground or elevated railway infrastructure is built? Can be redesigned this limit as a new green corridor? This proposal visualize the potential that Curicó has for articulating its existing public spaces with future parks in a continuous ring that counter the lack of green areas that currently has.
