These postcards were made as the first assignment for UD Studio at Columbia GSAPP: An "urban drift" across the 5 Boroughs of NYC. Each postcard is a collage that synthesizes and put together the most relevant and unique urban elements, as well as the people, places and moments of the neighborhood visited.
Together, the postcards create a unique collage of soft transitions from one neighborhood to another. In this way, I explore the idea of continuous drift through the city. Despite long distances between each neighborhood, the presence of urban infrastructures and city backgrounds are always reminding us of this urban continuity.
